Engine Driven Pumps
Engine driven pumps, as the name suggests, are operated by a portable engine that uses either diesel or petrol to run. Tsurumi engine driven pumps with world leading brand engines such as Honda are available from SPS. These pumps are either centrifugal or diaphragm pumps. Centrifugal pumps transport fluids using rotational energy from one or more impellers. Diaphragm pumps move the fluid through the pump as one diaphragm causes suction to draw the liquid into the pump and the other will push the same volume through the outlet. These pumps are versatile and portable as they do not require electrical power meaning they are easy to transport and are suitable for use in remote areas.
WX and WB pumps are self-priming, centrifugal pumps that are ideal for clean water and site water applications. They run with Honda 4 stroke petrol engines and have aluminium pump housing and ceramic mechanical seals.
TE pumps are self-priming, centrifugal pumps that are ideal for clean water and site water applications. They run with Honda 4 stroke petrol engines and have aluminium pump housing and ceramic mechanical seals.
LC series pumps are self-priming, centrifugal pumps that are ideal for clean water and site water applications. They run with 4 stroke Loncin petrol engines and have aluminium pump housing and ceramic mechanical seals with cast iron volutes and impellers.
TE-RD series pumps are self-priming, centrifugal pumps that are ideal for clean water and site water applications. They run with Subara-Robin diesel engines and have aluminium pump housing and ceramic mechanical seals with cast iron volutes and impellers. These pumps are designed to portable, reliable and user friendly.
TDS pumps are self-priming, centrifugal pumps that are ideal for clean water, site water and applications with large solids. They run with Honda petrol engines and have aluminium pump housing, silicon carbide mechanical seals and cast-iron volutes and impellers.
The TED models are self-priming centrifugal pumps that run with either Honda 4 stroke petrol engines or Subaru-Robin diesel engines. They are designed with aluminium pump housing, silicon carbide mechanical seals, cast iron volutes and impellers as well as wear plates and oil alerts making them extremely reliable.
The TD series are diaphragm pumps driven by Honda petrol engines. The pump chamber is made from aluminium and the gearboxes are maintenance free. These pumps can run dry for a short period of time and are suitable for clean, dirty and site water applications.
DryMaxx pumps are diaphragm pumps that use Yanmar L48E electric start engines to run. The pump chamber is pivoting meaning it can be used sidewards or frontwards and is then easy to access and store. These pumps can be used for clean, dirty or site water applications.
There are four models within the ETP Series from Atlas Copco all of which are lightweight, easily transportable, and self-priming. Three models are powered by gas while the fourth is powered by diesel. These pumps are perfect for use across multiple applications and in emergency use.
